We think that the week which we spend in Italy was probably the best week in our lives. We had there a lot of fun because we had a chance to talk with students from another countries, spend time with them and visit a lot of interesting places. Italian hosts were treating us very well. They were kind, polite and patient.
For us, Sicily is beautiful and Palermo is a really charming place.
Natalia think that Teatro Massimo made the biggest impression on her. This is the third largest theatre in Europe. It was dedicated to King Victor Emanuel II. She clamed that if she only had an opportunity to see any spectacl there, she would go there with a pleasure. However I enjoyed the most Selinunte - Ruins of Acropolis which we were visiting. They were founded around 600 B.C. The atmosphere was a little bit mysterious and the view (because those ruins are situated by the sea) was amazing.
Next place that made a really big impression on us were the ruins of Greek Theatre in the Taormina. The day of out visit was really rainy but bacause of that we could saw the most beautiful rainbow in our lives.
We had the best time in Acireale were the carnival took place. All of the students were suprised with all of the colours and music around us.
We'll never forget this experience.
